Ok. The fact that it had to have the rocker replaced scares me a little, cuz I figure it would be from rust. Rust it bad. Also, 270,000 miles is getting up there, you will (most likely) get about 130,000 miles out of it at most, but some 4.0's run for much longer. The D35 rear axle is a weak axle, especially for 35's. Iv also heard that the 242 is known to have problems, but I could be wrong.

But for 1600, you are basically buying that lift kit and tires, and getting a jeep for free.

 

X2 The rocker replacement and floor patch makes me think rust.

 

Dude i say buy it. All the add ons are worth more then 1600. You can always do a floor pan replacement!

 

1600 bucks? I say got for it. But it looks like he threw a lot of parts at it trying to fix a no start problem.

 

id get it...its a 1988 its going 2 have a little bet of rust and some problems here and there plus it look better then some 2001 xj that iv seen

 

It also looks in really good hape on the outside. I vote it was a mall crawler.

i would pick that up for 1600 even if it dose need a lil work
