Cherokee clear coat.

i have an 1988 cherokee with a clear coat that peeled and is white on top of the paint. Does anyone else have this problem? I can scrape it off with my fingernail, but does anyone have a better solution?

I've got a '97 and all the clear on the top of the Jeep is about gone. Depends on how you're covering it but what isn't smooth shows through. There aren't any easy "tricks", its just one of those jobs

I've noticed a lot of different vehicles having this problem.

I've never had it happen to any of my vehicles but every 6 months I always put a fresh coat of wax on the hood and roof of every vehicle I've owned.

Don't know if it's the wax or I've just been lucky.

Mines GONE!! LOL...

My grandfather never used wax an any of his cars/trucks...It was too late by the time i got to it...

My hood roof and rear hatch are just about at the primer...not even black any more. Probably gonna give it a rattle can job this spring. Might bedline the roof and rockers while im at it.
