Cherokee 101
I love XJ's but I wasn't born rich to mess up with a dissambled jeep to learn mechanics. My knowledge in mechanics is too poor that I do not have a guess of what gears ratio, differential type and size, transfer case and transmission model my model has, etc, etc,
You experts what would be the best approach lo learn little by little using this forum as a backbone to get skills and invest over my jeep?
I need a cherokee 101 lessons, jajajaja

Dear Pals
I have learn a lot through the youtube links you sent to me, now I have a clearer understanding of how hard and easy it to do proper upgrades on ones' XJs.
Some mods I would have someone to do it since it requires special tools, lockers, Slip yoke eliminators, difs sway bars, ring and pinion ratio upgrade, etc.
Have a nice one!!

Any work inside an axle, leave to the pros. Everything else, get to it. Patience, basic hand tools, a FSM, and youtube, you can do most anything on the Jeep. Helps to have another vehicle available to drive while the jeep is torn apart.

If you don't have a bunch of money to throw at your jeep, and I would say most of us don't....You need a second vehicle so you can build at a pace you can afford.........
