Default CB Radio mounting locations

So I'm wondering where everyone mounts their CB radios, not the antenna but the actual radio. I'm looking for ideas for mine, I want a nice clean out of the way mount. I was thinking off the side of the center console near the glove box

I prefer my mount on the side of the center console. Only thing is that you can't move the seat super far forward anymore.

With my uniden, I decided not to mount at all, but just to tuck it in between the passenger seat and center console. It fits perfectly there, and generally stays out of the way. And if I really wanted to hide it, I could just lift it up and put it into the center console.

In my 95xj I cut out the storage spot in the front of the center console and mounted the cb bracket to the ash tray door. No longer opens but I'm not a smoker so it didn't mater to me. Mounted a uniden pc78 elite. Was the perfect spot. No issues with the manual shifter hitting the radio either.
