wow, thats weird. have you tuned it after install? have good grounds for the antenna? I know mine is tuned down to about 1 with the SWR meter in my cobra 29 and if I am on channel one and hit the mic button it cancels out the radio station I am on. basically mutes it.

sounds like a poorly grounded Antenna or damaged cable .. that would be transfering signal to your Body that could blled thru your speakers ... are you also getting engine noise thru your CB??

If you are running a permanent mounted antenna I would hook up a mag mount, throw it on the roof, and see if you still get the noise. If not then I would bet it is in the Coax or the antenna mounting/grounding. However if you still get the noise I would pull the CB out, hook it to the battery under the hood, put the antenna on the hood and then see if you still get the noise. If so then I am lost.... but if not I am betting there are stereo related wires that are running to close to the CB related wires.

Also if you have a buddy that has a CB see if you can mount yours in their vehicle and see what happens. If you get the same problem then I would say something may be wrong with the CB. Also try mounting a different CB in your current set up (wiring and permanent antenna) to see if their CB does the same thing.
