anybody know of or have some cheap tail light CB antenna mounts? looking to spend like 25$

Grab some scrap, use a grinder, and go to town...that's what I did

This, it is what I did, but I didn't use scrap metal I used some 1084 I had kicking.

Scrap angle left over from a job at work, granted it was a preformed piece of metal, that I cut and ground to fit what I was doing, it wasn't true angle iron, per se, more like 12 gauge sheet that was pre-bent, I just trimmed it to my needs...

Someone needs to make a SS front fender mount and sell with the coax. Would beat the pot metal chromed ones sold and a much better place to mount the antenna from a protection point and a better "Ground Plane" both for an XJ made for off road use.


Advantage closer to where the CB is mounted and no holes to drill in firewall either (already there) and the holes for the mount are on the inter fender lip, nothing touches the fender on the outside all runs between hood and fender.


These are super simple to make I have made a lot of them using SS flat bar.

I have been thinking about making my own but i might buy one for now. i have two antenna's. so i can just make the next one.
