Default carpet questions.

I'm thinking about pulling the carpet out of my 98 and putting down something else like line x. My question is if anyone else has done this and what o need to be aware of before I start . I.e. any wires cables etc. That have to be relocated. Thanks in advance for any help

It will be louder inside and your feet may get warm from the engine heat, but at least you'll have a hose out interior.

Lol you say louder like its a bad thing, that means I won't hear my wife tell me not to climb something. And now I can leave my defrost on AND keep my feet warm. Sounds like a win win.

Yes rip it out the carpet absorbs moisture and helps rust also if you want to put on stuff on the floor Chassis saver is the best product on the market look at Blacksmiths floor replacement thread he only uses it and chassis saver says you can put their product on and guarantee no rust to form

You can't look at The Blacksmiths thread because he got all butt hurt that the admins wouldn't allow editing past 3 days and removed all his photos. His words are still all there though.

That sucks. I think I'm pretty much rust free but it is a jeep. Where can I buy that stuff.

He wanted "editing rights" as he called them. The admin only allow editing posts for three days after they were made because of issues in the last. They cant set one subforum for the time limit and others open all together so its one way or another. So he got all butt hurt about it, removed his photos and said see ya on jeepforum.
