Hello all,
my hood is needing replaced, so i figured might as well upgrade. after google searching with no result, thought i would ask here: do they make a carbon fiber hood for the xj? i like the look of them, plus the benefit of lighter weight. hood scoop (functioning) preferred. Any help is appreciated

I don't know how stuck you are on carbon fiber exactly, but check out the fiberglass XJ hoods from Baja Fiber

You haven't seen a carbon fiber hood for a Cherokee because there isn't a demand for them. Cherokees are built to go off road and bang through trails, not racing. Dropping the weight isn't going to do much for you. Negligible MPG improvement. Negligible improvement in acceleration. Not sure how carbon fiber would fair banging it around off road.
I suggest you go to any Pick N Pull and grab a hood. $50 and you are good to go. Spend the carbon fiber money on other mods. Best part about a stock hood is when you bash it up you can buy another one cheap.
