I have my stock fender flares on my xj and I am thinking about taking them off and doing the cut and fold. But I can't decide if I want to bite the bullet and just take them off or leave them stock because they still look good.
And no my tires do not rub because I already cut the front fender and quarter panel where they would hit as in the picture.

Looks better with them. The only reason I cut was I didn't want to lift it high enough to clear 33s with them.

you trim your fenders when they inhibit your up travel. no rub? then there's no reason

leave your jeep stock as long as possible. you'll look back and miss the days when it was this clean

a few years ago someone stole my stock fenders while i was working.. yeah. ripped em right off lol so i said eff it, and trimmed them. well, just the front so far. still gatta cut and fold the rear. i like the fenderless look. i dont really miss them, but i really do like the look of lifted cherokees with their original fenders

Where did you cut your quarter panel?

I think your rig looks bad as he!!. Unless you're rubbing them on the tires, I'd leave it alone.

I cut it at the same level as the grill. When it's stock it goes down about 5-6 inches more
