The stock bumper isn't anywhere close to being strong enough to handle the stresses a winch puts on its mountings, so you have two choices:
1) Buy or build a winch bumper. Depending on your fabrication skills, you can save a lot of money just making one yourself. Otherwise expect to pay between $400-$1000 for a good winch bumper.
2) Get JCR Offroad's Backbone system. It'll let you mount a winch that's tied into your frame for good, solid support, but be able to retain the front bumper. They also make their Tailbone system for mounting a tire carrier on the rear without having to remove the stock bumper.
Good luck!

i think that the backbone system looks like the best deal for me. im on a buget of $500-$600 for winch, mount, lights, and roof rack. I found a rack for 200 with 4 lights on craigslist

For someone like me who wants to keep most of the stock trim and bumpers on his vehicle, while still making it offroad-capable, the Backbone and Tailbone systems are great. There's a slight amount of modification required to mount them, but nothing that can't be done in under a half hour with a cutting wheel.
