Default Can i beat my friends ram in the mud?

He has late 90s 5.9 V8 extended cab 4wd on 30 inch Falken Wild Peak A/T's(the exact size and tire I want).... I have 31 inch Super Swampers. I know he weighs more but I have larger tires. So who do you think can make it farthest?

Not sure, lockers would go a long way in that. I would say you. Unlike my buddy here that got himself buried up this morning. Talk about a long day on the side of a really big hill, the only place that is flat and has run off. Like a giant marsh.

I would like to believe the XJ would go further than a comparable Ram.. yours is smaller and weighs less than he does, which should help work for you. Definitely only one way to find out though!

I would think the XJ would out run it only bc leight weight plus a good set of tires it would float right over mud compared to the dodge that will sink

I thought lighter weight was bad in mud ? Wouldn't that mean it would be more slowed down by mud because it has less momentum?

I'll post pics too

If anything a heavier truck would ne slowed down simce the weight of the truck would be pushed down more than a cherokee. All momentum would be the speed your going before u hit the mud

between the weight and tires, a)you weigh less, which means youll sink less, and b)you have 31" super swampers. he has A/T's. so as long as your swampers arent bald, youve got the advantage tire wise too.

Swampers will own any A/T in the mud any day. Assuming they have tread.

Just do 55 threw the holes and you'll beat anything/ I did that last time and was the only person not to get stuck. And it made a cool splash
