Ok so my a/c works off and on. Seems like the clutch on the compressor is binding? I have been told you can change just the clutch and bearing, then I have been told you have to buy the whole compressor. The air blows nice and cold until the clutch stops spinning. Autozone has a listing for the clutch bearing but not a complete clutch. O'reilly's oddly enough did not have anything. What are your suggestions?

This is on a 2001 Cherokee Sport 4.0L

 

I've heard it's easier just to buy a whole new compressor. There are some good deals on rockauto.com

 

I have looked around at a few places but wanted to see if I could just swap the clutch and save a little dough.
