Buying new wheels - need help with size/backspacing
I'm having trouble finding accurate info on stock wheel size. Could also use some advice regarding which offset to use given my lift situation.
I run 31x10.5 R15 tires on my 96 XJ (no fender trimming), and I need new wheels that will fit the same. I have a 3" Rancho lift. I should mention that the tire rubs just a tiny bit on my suspension components when turning the steering wheel extremely far. It's fine the way it is, but I don't want it to get WORSE... in other words, I don't want my wheels to move closer to the center of the vehicle via backspacing that is too high.
So, what width and backspacing should I be looking for in my 15" wheels?
Thanks!
Edit: also, if you have any specific stores that you like ordering Cragar wheels from, feel free to let me know
Edit2: This is my daily driver. I don't need a super wide stance. A little wider is fine but I rarely go crawling.

go for a 8 inch wide wheel, and 3.75 backspacing or 4.00.. i run 15x10 wheels with 4.00 back spacing with 32x11.50s

Don't know what wheels you're running but most stock are 7" with 5.25" of back spacing. 8" wide with 4" back spacing is pretty standard on jeeps and Summitracing.com has the cheapest prices on Cragars I've seen.
Would either of those make my stance a lot wider though? I don't need that, since my jeep is my daily driver and I rarely go crawling (yeah, I know...). For instance, the stance in the jeep in Purple's pic looks way too wide for my practical purposes (though his tires are much wider, too, which makes it harder to tell)

yes get a 15x8 with 4" bs (or -12 bs if it is not in inches)
that is how much a 31x10.5 will stick out (as that is what I run)
