buying first cherokee...help?

I have a 98 how do I know if it is high output or not? Sorry for asking questions on your post man

It does. As long as it is the original motor. But I highly doubt someone would swap in a renix.

Im going to look at a 96 146xxx cherokee xj today. What other things should i be looking for?

RUST overheating death wobble, drivetrain (good: 8.25 rear, stuff like that) bad: d35

I just got back from looking at it and im really impressed it runs perfectly. Im goin back later this week to buy it, already set up. The underbody has regular wear, and it has a d35. That was the only bad about the cherokee. But I Only plan on mudding, and trails so Light off roading.

The 8.25 can easily be swapped out in a few hours their easy bolt in to

Thanks that makes me feel alot better so in the future if i want to go big i can swap it out pretty easy!
