Buyer Beware
I recently purchased a new aftermarket window regulator for my XJ from a guy on eBay. He is a power seller with great feedback, so I felt pretty good about the purchase. It was $96 shipped compared to $350 at the dealer. The part arrived damaged (either in packing or shipping) and the seller will not return any of my emails. His username is ninfiniti. Be careful if you buy from him. I will attempt to dispute the Paypal charge. Thanks for listening. I needed to vent.

I appreciate your post as I had the rear window motor go bad and most of my replacements are ebay deals, hope that your situation gets taken care of.

I'm assuming since he's a power seller he has 1) a lot of cash going back and forth on paypal and 2) probably some sort of automation software for e-bay. So the software may check his e-mail not him. If he doesn't respond paypal will freeze money from going from them to his bank, so if he sells anything else and gets paid paypal will sort of put that in escrow for you. Be patient, sorry you had a bad experience, and thanks for the heads up.

I have had a bad ebay experience also, which is why I don't use them for a source of vendors.

1.How much time has it been? Some of these guys don't check their email every day but will at some interval. They will then make good unless you have already flamed them.
2. If it has really gone sour protest to ebay and the chances are good you'll be taken care of.
Good luck.
