What Have You Paid For Junk Yard Parts?
I thought this thread might help people estimate what the cost of parts for their XJs would be.
If you have purchased parts from a JY just post the year of the vehicle, the part, general location, availability, and anything else you might think may be helpful.
I purchased my '98 XJ Sport for 2k at a JY with 92000 miles on it in Toledo, OH.

Cherokees are XJs, Grand Cherokees are ZJs and WJs depending on the year model.
Picked up a complete Chrysler 8.25 drum to drum, out of a 95 4cyl 2wd XJ, factory 4.10 gears for 110$. If it had been a 4wd I would have gotten the front axle as well.
Got a felxplate for 15.

Got An aw4 tranny for $200 which was $150 cheaper than any other place here in toledo, oh...even has a 30 day warranty.
