I'd be interested in pics also. I've been searching the forum for a few days and can't seem to find a lot on them.

Mounted to the rear? The rear has a completely different mounting system. Those are for the front. And make your own out of scrap. Free and easy

I know the ones EVILXJ posted are for the front, i wanted both pictures of the front and rear mounts. And, yeah, i know the stock mounting system is different, i wanted to see how others mounted their bumpers, whether it be stock mounts or tied into the frame, which can be done.

Default Rear Bumper Mounts

I'm actually in the process of finishing up a rear bumper project on my 98 right now. I cut out some sheet from the tail panel between the stock mounts. This allowed me to use some 1/4" wall 2x4 tubing (with some alterations) tied from the inside of the frame rails. I opened up some stock holes to fit 5/8-11 bolts thru. Then I weld the mounts to the bumper after measuring and mock up. I'll post some pics when I finish the structural procedures tomorrow. I got the idea from another project on this forum I believe (not taking full credit).

For the rear gotta make some brackets that can mount where you would bolt up a receiver hitch for it

I think i know which thread you are talkin about, and i think thats the way im leaning towards...the stock mounts seem like they just suck, so building into the frame seems smarter...and hopefully strong enough that i can pull someone out or get pulled out when i need it....
