Default Bumper end cap painting

Thinking of painting mine from black to patriot blue to match my car. Will the paint cover up the nasty green color they turn as well? Has anyone done this before.

So far I painted my side trim and will do my end caps next. Its pretty easy....just make sure you clean the plastic pretty good. Then use a light sand paper to scuff up the surface a bit and prime then paint. I find it better to do a few light coats of paint versus one heavy coat...just turns out better. The hardest and most time consuming part is removing the endcaps or taping them off so you don't paint your jeep! Good luck.

Yea I really don't feel like removing them lol. May just tape off the rest of the vehicle and do it.

What it take to remove them? Just a few bolts? Mine are banged up and not on properly anyways so it may be wise to just remove and reinstall properly.

I kind of like this idea....herculiner will look tough. My spray paint on the door trim hasn't chipped any but the herculiner would look sweet! I may do it too! lol
