Default building custom exhaust/updated sound clip

hey so am building custom exhust with cat and straight pipe all the way however i want too build duel pipes is it hard ? or it can be done. does anyone have any picis about building duel pipes. would really appricate it tho am buyin some stuff for it now

U can run dual pipes out the back, iv seen a couple rigs with it done, its not a true dual tho unless u get split headers, I personally think single is better on a xj, better flow and sound.

sounds good. well am buyin a bigget cat then after mabye 900 mm after i will put a split pipe then go from there is that a true duel ?

only true duel exhaust is headers back, u need split headers for a true duel, single in to duel out is not a true duel exhuast and I dont rlly see any benefits from running duel pipes out if its not true

now i get what u mean. i am a noob dont know anything about these cars alot ive ordered haynes manuel book too read up abit and looking on forums . this question might be stupid but dont the v8 5.2 l have split headers ? or just one ?

Duel pipes on a xj sound pretty bad if you ask me. There is a company that actually makes a header that is split, so its the closest you can get to true duels and even then it won't sound all that great.

The 5.2's have two manifolds. One one each side.

If u have a v8 id be alot easyer to run duels because they have headers on each side, unlike the |6 has one big header

oh i see well i got a v8 5.2 L

and building an twin pipes from cat sounds really good tho but i dont know how he or she built it on this one tho it sounds absouluty amazing.

listen too this cherokee v8
