Build My 88 or Buy something else.

I have an 88 pioneer. 4.0 auto tran. I drive my jeep daily and Has 150k on the dash. I want to start building my cherokee but am wondering if i have a good base. Ill have about 2500 bucks to start with. Any input is appreciated. thanks

Yeah its gonna be my weekend warrior as well she's been up like 3 times stock and did amazing just need to know that what I want and need are the same thing hah
