• The other day i notice my rear shock just hanging down on the ground. So i get under the jeep and look up and one of the bolt heads snapped off. I cant get the rest of the bolt out so i don't really know my best plan of action. I can't be the only one thats had this problem so I'd like to hear what you guys did. Thanks,

I had all four of mine (both sides) upper back shock mount bolts broke on mine when I bought it. I borrowed my buddies air hammer and knocked them out (it's just a tac weld holding the nuts on the inside). I then fish in some new bolts (grade 8) and installed some bar pin eliminators. It doesn't take long with a air hammer( 5- 10min), but it can be done with a small sleage and punch. Just wear a painters mask and goggles, alot of rust and dirt will fall

All xj's do this and there are 10 different fixes... Google the problem or search it here and u will find many answers...
