Default Breather Tube

I believe there is a breather tube that connects to the front pig and ends behind the top of the motor. If so i noticed there was a hole in it at the bottom, i am concerned because the day before i was off roading and went thru a lot of water. What will happen if there is water in it and what can i do if there is. Please help and thanks.

What you can do if there is water in it is drain it, clean with brakecleaner if necessary, refill with clean oil, and replace breather tube. If there is water in it and you don't replace it will destroy your gears in time. The amount of time depends on the amount of water

x2. Chances are youre due for a fluid change anyways. Just be safe and do it.

I've destroyed a d30 before because of water.
It fills in and pushes the oil out. Since oil sits on top of water thats how it escapes through a leaking seal or a vent tube and then your just running water which doe's not do a very good job lubercating.
