Bought a Cherokee this morning
Hey guys, well, I bought a Cherokee this morning! It's a 1998 with 140,000 miles. It's in real nice shape and I paid $2,500 for it. Here are three pictures.
I would like to say thanks for all the help here, with the help of the forum and the members here I was able to understand what I was buying.

Thanks, it does have a problem that my wife isn't too happy about. She asked me how the tires looked, and I had to tell her the truth! "Honey, we do need new tires", "And the ones on there are a little small, so I'll have to fix that"

HA! I'm thinking of just doing a 30" tire for her. My next project is buying a Jeep for myself......I can see how this becomes an addiction.

Thanks, I'll do some research on the BB and see what other changes I need to do for that type of lift.

you might not even need a budget boost to fit 30's. I have 30's on mine with the stock suspension and they don't rub at all, even when turning sharp.
