Default boomerang shackle?

I am planning on buying some boomerang shackles, i am looking to get 1.5" of lift. What boomerang shackle will be closest to 1.5" i was looking at the RE shackles but the lift hieghts were different everywhere i looked, some sites said 1" some said 1.25" and some said 1.5". I also would like to know how they flex

ahhhh where did I see these. some random site called mudflaps.com I think. they sold a 6" boomerang (+1.5" lift) for like $90
I'd just buy the RE ones off seriousoffroad though

hmm you might see a slight bit more upward travel. but boomerang shackles are used to keep the leaf from inverting and can also help with clearance issues. you're not going to see much difference in flex without relocation brackets

You wont see any difference in flex.

Boomerang shackles are to be used when you have slightly longer leaf springs, or real arched leaf springs and need to clear the back of the shackle box.

I think you're just increasing your height. but I don't think it will actually flex more because your angle is still at 90*

You want to have a 45 degree angle like this.

Get a relocation box first. Then see where you are at
