bolts for hitch

Default bolts for hitch

hey guys i have trailer hitch for my 95 cherokee sport but i dont have bolts to install it. can someone find me a link to order the special bolts with the nut strips? I have been searching to find them but i cant find them anywhere and i believe its a class 2 or 3 hitch with a 2 inch reciever thanks guys

I don't know about the JCR's but these don't come with bolts. The bolts aren't any special type, just take the nutstrip to the local hardware and grab appropriately sized grade 8's.

For the nutstrips do they just slide into place in the frame?

Yup, pull the bumper and slide them in the little access holes in the rear crossmember.

Go to a scrap yard and find a jeep with a regular hitch.
Acquire nut strips.

I dont' recommend the dealer because they are $35/each. At the scrap yard they are $1.50 each.

In my area (the rust belt) they are complete crap at the junkyard. Don't remember off hand where the OP is located, but if in a low rust area, give the junkyard a shot like mr white said.

Thanks a lot guys I think I'm just gonna by the set of nut strips in the first link that seems the easiest. I know the price is kinda steep but I don't feel like messin with the jy
