so im new here and i have a stock xj, and i have 30" tires on it and would like a little lift. but a suspension lift is too expensive. so would anyone on here point me into the right direction to a good body lift kit, like the kind that just jacks the body off the frame a little for looks?

 

take a look under your xj at the "frame rail"

notice how there isnt a true solid frame like in other trucks and SUV's??

There is no possible way to lift the body of an xj. There are many inexpensive ways to lift your xj. search "budget boost"

 

Uni-body.... one body.... frame is the body the body is the chassis. look under there sometime.

 

I never have understood why people insist on asking this question! the first thing i did when i got interested in one, i found one and crawled under the damn thing to see what was what with it! it isnt very hard to do.
