First off, Welcome to CF! Now on to business. Are you on Mobile/App or a desktop?
Either/or there is a section labeled "Stickys" Inside you will find various threads to cover and awnser all your basic questions. IE: All lift and tire questions go here Thread. We created these Stickys to help keep the same questions being asked 100 times in a new thread.

But to awnser your question, 235/75R15 is a good size for a stock rig without a lot of rubbing.

Ok. When you go select Technical Discussion, there will be two boxes at the top. One labeled Stickys, just tap that to see all the threads.

Anything other than stock tires require either a lift/trimming frnders/wheels or all of those.

I think 30's is the biggest that will fit stock. I had 235's on my stock XJ. I didn't go with bigger tires until I lifted.
