Better off raod T-case
What do you guys think is the best jeep t-case for off roading 231??? 242??? Im curious i currently have a NP231 and, well i like it. However sometimes i wish i had full time 4x4.

231 and 242 are decent, but can't beat the Atlas t-cases 
Personally, out of the two stockers, i'd take the 231. I don't like the full time 4wd option and probably would never use it.

the part time does have a narrow chain compared to the 242 so I favor it highly over the 231 but there is also a lot of aftermarket for the 231 which allows it to be improved quite a bit. Most of it is just preference but a slip yoke eliminator is more readily available for the 231 making it work better with a lift kit
