Bedliner I like the rustoleum aerosol truck bed liner

Undercoat I prefer the aerosol undercoat made by HiTech Industries.

What do you think would be best for under there? Bedliner or undercoating?

A undercoat for sure. Any kind will do really. Just makes sure its clean and any surface rust needs sanded

That's pretty much what it's made for. Plus flying rocks will chip the bedliner to pieces. I say undercoating

I just used the stuff I found at walmart and it seems to work fine. It took 3 cans to do one coat on my WJ, so that should give you an idea how much you'll need.

Just about to apply some undercoat. The NAPA guy told me that I could spray the duplicolor undercoat directly onto rust and it would seal it (after scraping the rust flake off). Is this true? Do I need to prime with anything first?
