Look what arrived today! Boxes were a little beat up thanks to transportation, but the shocks can handle some abuse! haha

They're BPEs, and I replaced them back in October. However I'll still hit em!

So do I have to do anything different when installing them? This is my first set of shocks that came with a tie on it. What's the best way to install them?

Slip them onto the axle mounts first then cut the strap. Guide the shock into position as they extend.

Oh OK, so it's not going to fire straight out and puncture through the body?

Thanks again, Frank! Shipping was fast and another nice transaction with Serious. Although my box had a nice gash in it, exposing the content, but that's unavoidable. Plus the UPS guy probably isn't happy with me since all my packages are always heavy. haha

So.. good and bad news haha. Good news is I got the fronts on! Bad news is I'm having an issue with the rear. Even though I already have a homemade BPE type setup, it's still tricky. I had to jack my jeep up quite a bit to fit these shocks.

What's the best way to remove the metal bar on the bottom of the rear shocks? The same thing that the bolts go into for the ones on the front. I'm having an issue getting that out so I can mount the rears.

Shocks are on! Need to fix my rear upper BPE mount, but they're all on. Ride seems pretty good. I live in a city that has insane potholes and bad roads, so I'm going over a lot of bumps and holes, and it still seems a little rough. Do they need some time to break in or anything? I'm running full 6.5 RC coils with a 1.75'' spacer. Think a better quality coils would be good? I also have no coil isolators, but I don't think that'd cause this.. right?

those shocks are top notch, so if you're still riding a little rough, you have another problem.
yeah, i'd start with some coil isolators and check your uca bushings on your front axle.

More so in the rear, but I feel it all over when hitting bumps.
I have a full 6.5 pack with leaf sliders, so no shackles.
