I converted my headlights to h4's i pulled a set of headlight housings outta a ford probe turbo for $10 from pull-a-part and took a set of h4's from my civic here is what they look like. perfect fit bolt right up to original housing. and h4 plug is same as original light pug. the light housing itself is way cleaner then the stock jeep light cause it doesn't have that film to it so they are brighter. and now i got blue bulbs

I bought 2 sets and spent a little under $200 with shipping. Installed them on a 92 and 99 XJs. they are bright as hell!!! worth the money. Found them on ebay,

Sylvania Silverstars, mine last about a year, I do a LOT of night driving, $36 each Cdn, 55W on the low beam, yeah I get flashed frequently by oncoming traffic, they are aimed right! checked and double checked, I have actually turned them down from the aim sweetspot, still the fn flashers, a touch of the brights shuts them up, you will really like the silverstars, bright, white, and real nice light pattern out in front of you, sounds like USA prices are real good.

When I started this thread I ended up deciding to just put in silverstars. I bought them and went to replaced them and realized the ones in there from the PO were already silverstars. I also realized I only blew a fuse so I returned the new lights. I think my silverstars are dim compared to other cars, so I guess I am going to have to upgrade to something better, and maybe upgrade the harness. For now I will just keep using the 100w kc lights I have as long as there are no cars around

x2 if your wanting to upgrade the stock headlights with no "mods", great improvement. i use them in my cherokee and my yota. good enough for me, ill leave the hella's to my AUX lights...

autopal h4 conversion housings off ebay with 90/100w bulbs and an upgraded wiring harness, all for about $80. With the highs on it was almost like driving with my 150w KC long range lights. Well worth the $80.
