Best axle lockers?
What's the best lockers money can buy? Tell me what lockers you all are using. I was thinking Detroit would be the best I don't know. Maybe arb or Yukon. What's the locker with the chrome shifter I think it's Yukon.

I've heard the Yukons are quieter than the Detriots.
ARB would be my top pick, then Yukon, spool, and lunchboxes.

Aussie, lokka, powertrax, spartan are all lunchbox lockers, a form of auto locker. Activate under load
Arb, Eaton, ox, zip locker are selectable
And spool is a permanent locker, like being welded

I almost went with an e-locker (Eaton), but they don't make one for the C8.25. There's pros & cons. A pro would be that it needs virtually no maintenance after install. (ARB has more of a chance of something going wrong.) Plus it's a little cheaper on the install as you don't need an air compressor. But the biggest con for me is that there's none for my axle. That said, I think ARB can give you the best bang for the buck.

i almost bought an e-locker for my 44. then i read that it needs a certain amount of rotation to fully engage when going from forward to reverse or the other way round. so if you are locked, back up like 3" and hit it you can blow it up from not being fully engaged. i went with OX.. it can be engaged/disengaged up to 150mph.
