BEDLINER on the lower part of doors

i want to put bedliner on the bottom part of my doors and i wana know what the preperations were before putting it on ? any suggestions ?

I will keep my eye on this.....thinking about bedlining my roof. I assume you prepare the surface like anything else you paint.....sand, prime,paint?

Definitely wash it with soap and water, then sand it a little so it has something to adhere to, then wash again with just water then alcohol and then tape/mask off then do the bedliner. Roll on Rustoleum is what I used. Here's some pictures

When I did mine I taped it off and sanded it down. Then I sprayed the area with primer. I used self etching primer but I think regular primer would have worked just fine. Then once that dried I sorayed on the Bedliner. I just used the stuff in the auto section from walmart. Its held up nicely over the past year or so. YOu guys seen anyone do their roof? Looking for a write up on that (sure its no different) to see pics.....can't seem to find one in the search.

i did mine recently, i washed it and lightly sanded it with a block, then jus sprayed the bedliner right on came out great, i was also thinking about doing my roof and maybe even doing the hood, just an idea though.
