So i just pulled the headliner out and the back seams really flimsy. its not even cardboard or anything. its some sort of mesh fabric. Is that how everyones is or is that just me? i feel like if i take off all the foam the board will just fold and bend

That's how they all are. Trust me when I say you can't be too careful handling this thing. And it also helps ti have an extra pair if hands when you're putting it back in. As for me its still sitting on my garage floor. Life has been kicking my *** lately.

I dont have my girlfriends camera to take pics of it while im working on it but ill post pics of the final product. So far ive taken all the fabric and foam off and sprayed on the rubber undercoating. Not sure how good its gona turn out. Some of the yellow(i guess fiberglass?) came off then i was removing the foam so its not perfectly smooth and the headboard wrinkled a little bit when i took it out. So idk what its gona turn out like. I have a feeling im gona be making a trip to the jy for a new headliner eventually.

Alright so bedlined headliner is a no go! The headboard was all torn up from me taking off the foam and it looks like complete S***! So it looks like im gona be rocking no headliner untill i find time to take a trip to the jy. Looks like i can add this to the failed projects list!

Mines going back in today, ill post pics stat. There is one spot where the top layer of...material ripped so I layed on the undercoating super thick and smoothed it out, almost like bondo. Its in the back too,so I don't really mind it
