Default Bed Lining Stock Bumpers

Bed lining my stock bumpers this weekend. Wanted to see if any of you ladies or gents had any photos of their stock bumpers bed lined. Any tips or suggestions are welcome.

Bumpers are all chipped and scratched (dented on the front)

Also any suggestions on painting the caps are welcome as well. I'm against painting plastic but I'm willing to cut my losses and try the paint.

I'm also thinking about bed lining my bumpers. I did the plastic caps with spray on Rustoleum bedliner last year. Personally I think that plastic looks better with the spray on bedliner.

I was considering the bedliner but wasn't sure how well it would adhere to the plastic. Got any pics?

My dad is doing some work on one of his trucks and he has been using this stuff from Napa. It's a 2 part that you spray out of a gun, pretty decent stuff. Can't remember the name of it, will have to get back to you on that.

Very interested in this thread! I'm about to do the same myself. I ripped off that air dam on a snowbank already, so I've been trimming the end caps:

So far I've thought that Krylin Fusion like a primer then bedliner should do the trick on the plastic.

BTW if you live in an area where road salt is used you will want to take that crap apart before painting. I had to cut all of the lower bolts holding the caps on but I uncovered rust on the bumper and fenders that I am treating.

I want to trim my end caps but I want to keep it as stock as possible right now.

If you beat me to the end cap painting let me know how it works out! I've been thinking just a couple light coats of krylon fusion would do the trick on them. Do that and see how I like the outcome.

Only pic I could find on my phone.

Duplicolor Bed Armor, spray can.

Used 180 grit on end caps and bumper. Sticks just fine.

I think it was $11 or $12. Less than a can did the caps and bumper. I put like 10 layers on it too. Thin layers though.

I ditched the bumper caps a few months ago but here is how my Rustoluem spray on looks on my trim, and new grill. Wheels are just black spray paint, not bedliner.

Front and passenger sides done. Trimmed caps, added skid plate and lights while I was at it.

I bedlined my stock bumpers the other day. It looks way better than chrome. Even bedlined over my duct tape rear bumper.

You bedlined duct tape?! That must be like the most hardcore Jeep mod ever.
