Agreeing with the people who have used the Dupli-Color spray on liner. I've used it on my bumper caps, and am not at all impressed with the turn out. Some spots rough, others smooth, peeling around the edges, streaks in the coloring.

I have used Herculiner on the interior of my old F350 and again on the exterior of my 6x6 hard top.
If you use herculiner I would recommend that you do more than the 2 coats they say to use. I used two coats inside my f350 and it wasnt nearly think enough to handle day to day use. When I coated my 6x6 top I did 4 coats and its AWESOME!!!!
I have no complaints.

I know you can get it in a spray can, and right how Harbor freight on sale, but I was going to get a gallon and just cover the jeep with a roller, I guess I just need to to know how much to cover the whole outside, and has anyone tried to paint over it after word, if it wont hold paint then I wont cover the jeep in it.

I think I will get the rust, oleum stuff, and test it on something else first and see if it will hold the paint, if it does then the rest of the ride will get it too.

I biggest question now is, can you paint over it, I mean most bed liners wont hold paint, and if I cant do that, then I dont know if i want to cover the whole jeep in bed liner.
I want a nice paint job that will last, but I want to do Camo over the top of the liner, has anyone had any success with painting it?

for painting over, rustoleum is your best bet. Just prime the he'll out of It first. I have rhino liner below the trim line all the way around and it cleans nice. U can use tire shine on it too! Lol just have to use a good car soap like armor all and use a scrub brush and dirt comes right out. Had it for 2 years. it came off my plastic fenders but haven't had an inch peel or chip off the body.

I might do some Hercu-liner, over the Rust Oleum, on the bottom clip, not sure yet, I am going to test my paint idea on a few pieces of metal here. just to see how well it holds up, I figure if the rust-oleum is is fresh, maybe even a little tacky I might be able to paint over it. Guess we will see....
Anyone have any idea how much to cover the jeep...lol

I just finished a bedlining project today. I used rustoleum roll on. Looks great, a quart was more than enough to do my mirrors, fender flares, front and rear bumpers+caps, rockers and lower doors. Rolled on nice and isnt like sandpaper to your skin when its dry. I cant say anything as to its paintability however
