Default Battery??

searched a little bit but couldnt find the right info.

but after jumping off my battery once a week for about the past month it finally gave out. So looking to get a new one now. Im needing one that will do good with all the stuff i need to run off of it, like 4 lights and my amp. Been wanting to get an optima yellow top.... but read that they werent doing so good.

Any suggestions?

I have a red top and really like it.

The yellow top should be great.

I would also look into upgrading the wiring.

I have a red top in my xj an a yellow top in my TJ. I love them both and will never buy any other battery. The dry cell is the way to go. I've ran em down to nothing on many occasions and once jumped they charge right back up as if nothing ever happened.
Well worth their weight in gold in a jeep.

I think quadratech has em..... if not try other similar sites like 4wheelparts or xtremeterrain.com and the yellow top has done magical wonders in my old xj. It really doesn't matter yellow or red they're both amazing.

Most I've seen for a yellow top is $180.

I will say this, though. Two of my friends (one was a room mate, one is now my landlord) have had horrid experiences with Optima. A coworker also got onethat ended up being empty, right out of the box.

I went and bought one, and have had no issue yet.

IMO theres always faults and defects with Any product especially batterys. But If i had to Go and return a product that i knew would serve a good purpose 10 times i would do it just to get a good one.

That sounds like the best plan, might be a little more but if it ever breaks than you don't have to wait a week for a new one
