Default Baja Claw TTC

Anybody on here have any experience with these tires? I am looking at buying some for my Cherokee which will be used mainly for mud but I still want a smooth running tire on the road. Also, I have found a brand new set for a good price.

Ok cool, what will yours be used for? Rock crawling? Mud? I have posted on another website and nobody there seems to think the tires will do good in mud.

I have a set of 31 Baja claw TTC's, I have stock 3.07 gears 5 speed and I get 19-21 on the highway. They really howl tho, fairly smooth on the road for a M/T but really howl. My neighbor has a Cherokee with 34 tsl's and they are alot louder then the TSL's. They are AMAZING in the mud and everything else you throw at them. If you run them in the direction they are supposed to be ran, they clean out like mad and do amazing in the mud and snow. When im in the rocks, I turn all of them backwards and air down. They act like a cup and wrap around rocks giving you some amazing traction. But they are hell on the road at low speeds and howl a lot at high speeds. They were designed after tractor tires with i believe a 23 degree angle tread and they act like it to. Amazing traction on road, I have a 3 inch lift with the 31's and I can easily take a 30 mile an hour corner at 50+. They are like arrows, they go in the direction you point them. You will not be disappointed, amazing tires. They were also in the top truck challenge like two years ago if you want to look up some more info, I honestly dont think I will ever get a different tire again, they are amazing all around. You got a good buy, go get them! =D

Here is a guy with a full on buggy sitting on TTC's, watch him literally walk up everything, I only have 2wd currently until i get my cable locker kit and I can keep up with all my buddies in their rigs with 4wd.... Keep in mind this guy never aired down either

I've experienced these tires do amazing on rock. But mud, not as much.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and buy them. Will the TTC's last as long as the original baja claw?

I wasn't aware they made the TTCs this small. I knew a guy who actually ran TTC, twice, and ran the 54" IIRC last time. As soon as he was home he sold them and went back to IROCs. Said the pattern was a bit too tight for rocks and the sidewalls were too soft. His were bias but I'm guessing they are just using the name now for all the Claws and are radials.

My friend has 38" Baja Claw radials on his F150, they suck in mud. We have almost gotten it stuck twice in a mud pit I can go through with my stock Jeep no problem, and he has a LSD rear and locked front. It is way too tall to high center, we just weren't moving because the tires couldn't get traction.

Has your friend regeared? I ran Xterrains which are simular and a buddy had the same set on a simular rig. Mine was geared his wasn't and he didn't have the wheel speed to clean them in mud to get a bite. Claws tend to need to have a bit more wheel speed than your typical mud tire.
