Hey guys, got a quick question about an axle swap. After reading many posts on this forum, I decided that a popular axle swap for my 94 ZJ would be to replace my d35/d30 stock axles with an Explorer 8.8 for the rear and a hp d30 for the front. My question is:

What is a fair price for the 8.8 stock with disc brakes?

And a fair price for a high pinion d30?

Getting ready to spend some $$ and dont want to over spend.

the 8.8 with lsd in good shape should fetch anywhere from 200 - 400 depending on condition of the axle and brakes. You can fidn them for less at some upull yards or if someone dosent knwo what they have.

high pinion d30s can be had for 100 - 150 all day.

Where you located? I have a hp d30 I'm looking to sell

 

in 94 you should've had a high pinion D30 from the factory?

 

ZJ's dont have HP 30's

but back to the OP, a HP 30 can be had for $100-150 and a disc 8.8 can be had for under 200 bucks at a you pull it
