So its not a big deal this just bugs me. Whenever I shift into gear the little red dot thats supposed to show whatever gear you are in only half shows for me. Here is a pic to see what I mean, when its in drive the red does not cover the little hash mark the whole way, only half. Its a little thing that really bugs me. Any ideas?

 

have u tried moving the thing that goes around the shifter sound stupid but it works

 

all you do is slide that plastic piece

 

^^ ditto.. Mine bugged me too, so I took it apart. I couldn't adjust it, so i cut out a piece of orange plastic and stuck it on there. Now I'm able to sleep at last.

 

The plastic see-through cover on mine slides. Try doing that.

 

There is a little thin plastic piece that holds it still, so when I broke mine, I just got another one at the junkyard
