does it honestly matter whether or not YOU think it's a silly idea or not? i've seen some pretty silly, stupid ideas on here, but unlike yall, i dont go around bashing the people who post that stuff?
bottom line, if you think its silly or stupid, then why bother posting in the thread? all you're doing is wasting both of our time.

I'll be honest I read every post on this thread and I was laughing so hard that my sister is yelling cuzz it's midnight. You sir deserve a good explanation for your problem for how hard you made me laugh.
So:
I don't know much about cats since they prolly wouldn't get along with my 195 lb dog but, you could take a small metal cage(obviously big enough for a cat and a litter box). cut out a piece of cardboard 2
Inches wider than the cage. Then fold it 1 inch upwards on each side so that it will sit in the bottom of the cage and the sides be 1 inch higher than the floor too catch any litter box junk that may come out when u hit a bump or what not. then put a flap over the door so it doesn't stink up the car. then, you can bungee cord it too a corner of your cargo space so it won't tip over or whatnot. I hope I could help!

Face it, you came on a Jeep forum asking about a litter box solution, not that difficult, put a covered litter box in the back of the XJ and strap it down, done. Did you really need to start a thread for that? And then start another after the results were'nt so good and it got closed. You come here asking opinions and then get butt hurt when you get them, yet I'm a pathetic teenage bozo. Might be time to go look in the mirror buddy.

Your welcome. as much as this is funny and I laughed real hard, i know it's frustrating to have people not take you seriously. it may be One of the more odd topics I've seen but I signed up for CF to get help and help others and the fact is you wanted a portable litter box so that's what people should be posting about.
