Anyone Running H.I.D's???

I just got my $100 mail in rebate from when I bought my new phone and I decided to do a little ebay shopping with it... I got a Projector Lens Seal Beam conversion for my XJ along with a cheap HID kit (bulbs, ballasts, everything). And I know it probably won't last for too long but I thought I'd give it a shot.... Anyone on here have a setup similar to what I'm going to install?

Yes, there's actually already a ton of threads about HID's... Most have swapped away from a sealed beam style headlight though and to a H4 style light

yea i got ebay projectors for my jeep and couldnt see nothing with a regular bulb so i had to get hids

I tried the HIDs, but I got sick of blinding people at night. The only housings designed for use with HIDs are projectors. And I mean REAL projectors, not the cheap fake projectors. If you try to use any other kind of housings, they will only scatter the light and blind oncoming traffic.

I switched back to stock for a while. But I am in the process of upgrading with the heavy-duty headlight harness found on www.lmctruck.com (part#36-3580) and autopal housings found on EBAY.
