Anyone know what all these letters stand for???
Ok Im new to jeeps but I have known for years they all had two letter acronym for names. What do all of them stand for? Is there a method to the maddness or not? I have heard that CJ origionally meant "Civilian Jeep"

back in the day they might have had some meaning.
only one i can think of that made sense other than cj was
dj= delivery jeep (djs are the 2wd mail jeeps)
