I found these today on 4wheelparts, and i'm thinking they look pretty nice and would protect the quarter panel a good bit. And the skid rail is a nice touch also. So let me know what you think of them, and if you have them any sort of comment would be helpful

those are made by or-fab, i beleave they are made from 3/16" steel. you can get them alot cheaper from quadratec, if you get them without the rail there only like $225 and $280 with http://www.quadratec.com/products/72025_820X_PG.htm

Ya they are $10 cheaper from quadratec, but shipping would be a lot and I have a 4wheelparts right up the road, so I could just pick them up. But ya 3/16'' thick and they go up about an extra 2-3'' compared to the JCR units, and JCR doesnt do the rail thing(which looks like a good step to get to my roof rack). I just might have to modify them a little bit to clear my c4x4 taillight guards, but im ok with that.
I'd like to throw in a question
Do any of you guys know why these are only described for the 84 - 96 XJ's?
I have a 2000 and really want these, but I'm not sure if I could get them to fit right

Curved tail lights?
Dunno........
Overall, I'd call them a steal, not sure I like the powder coat, but........
I'd like to hear about "fit" from an owner.

If you check out the installation instructions, they indicate the kit is for 84-2001, and even make some notices to pre-96 or 96+ while installing them.
