We had a guy this weekend complaining that he only gets 16-17mpg city and wants better mileage. We told him he's got great mileage cause we all get about 10-12mpg.

if he's complaining about gas mileage, why is he driving a jeep? seriously, we all know the gas mileage on these things is not good. I'm trying to buy another car that DOES get good mileage so I can save the jeep from so many miles (make it my weekend warrior!) and save some money in the long run.

How hard is it on the engine to do this?

Not saying I run my jeep hard but I got on it pretty good today and I don't wanna hurt my baby
If you smash it it will definitely rev high... no surprise there.

I tend to mash the gas once a day, in the morning, getting on the highway. I like to think it keeps crud from building up in places. Lol

However, I only hit like 3-3.5k.

I've only hit 5k once when I was wheeling my 91, I forgot I was in low and gunned it. It still runs.

No need to hit the limiter all the time, its not a Ferrari. Power is down looow...
