Default Anybody Know What This Is???

I've wondered what this is ever since I bought my '97 XJ Sport. Looks like something was glued to it and some point. Just want to know what it is because I want to remove it soon.

I know what it is...it's a conversation starter. Someone just wanted people riding in his Jeep to ask about it.

That's gotta be it.

I think the black bulb got something to do with cruise control. Someone mentioned that on the forum here

Its the receiver for the Keyless which was standard equiptment in 97. 96 and older had a different style system that used the globe thingamabob, 97 no globe.

Ohh that explains it. But where can I find my directional fluid level? I think I'm running low because my directional has been flashing rainbow colors.
