Any way for someone to tell me more about the Jeep by the VIN number?
Is there anyway anyone could tell me some things about a jeep I am looking to buy by its VIN number,
Like the axles, ABS or not, and some other things?

That is considered by many to be one of the best years. How many miles, 4 or 6 cylinder, auto or manual trans, 2 or 4 wheel drive, 2 or 4 door, and how much are they asking?

4 wheel drive, 95k miles, command trac, 4 door, asking $3500 might be able to get some more out of him , inline 6 auto

That's not a bad price for a low mile Xj, and yes 95K is considered low miles. Especially since the 4.0 is well known for seeing upwards of 200K to 300K before needing a rebuild.

thats what ive heard. the only problem with this one is that the AC does not work, and the interior may need some cleaning
