Any high lift jack accident stories?

If this were the case then you could not lift the jeep 8).
What I do is remove the handle when I am done lifting the vehicle into position. My handle is not attached to the jack. It slips in and out.
You have to keep in mind the jack can slip out at ant time. Know this, prepare for it, never thinking its secure and you will not be caught by surprises.
When using it as a winch know the jack or chains/cables could break or come lose. Know this, prepare for it and you will be fine.
Really its just about using common sense and taking nothing for granted.
