Default another mpg thread...im sorry

Ok i dont get my mpg, it is not consistent with what others are getting and i dont have a lift or bigger tires yet.
Current mpg : 15.5 combined 70% gridlock driving with 30% freeway.
On the freeway i can get 24mpg
220 miles on a tank of gas.
Tires : 235 75 15 @ 32 psi
10w40 semi syn oil used

What ive done:
1. New walker cat
2. Flowmaster 44
3. Dodge stratus 4 hole injectors
4. Tranny complete flush out and gasket
5. New dizzy, wiring
6. New sparkplugs
7. Air filter - fram
8. New bosch 02 sensors from rock auto
9. New mopar iac
10. New mopar tps sensor

What needs to be done still
1. New battery, my current one is cheap and the voltage on the dash drops to 10v during driving
2. Motor mounts
3. Fuel pump with filter still factory??

I dont personaly think a CAI will do jack, maybe on of those cowl intake ones? snorkels make a difference?

Or am i getting the best mileage? Im curious about this because my xj gets less mileage than the wj 4.7????? Any ideas?

There's your problem. Put a 195* thermostat in.

You're getting good mileage for a 4.0 Jeep, especially if its got an automatic. Best I got when mine was stock with 235/75-15s was 21 mpg mostly highway, and I was happy about that. Getting about 18 highway now on 33's, and still happy with it.

Way too cold of a thermostat. Get a 195* tstat so the engine can reach the correct operating temperature

My XJ is getting 11 mpg with 3.55's and 33's. my milage took a hit when the manifold cracked since The o2 is getting a bad reading I'm dumping fuel. Once I get my header on I hope to get that 2-3 mpg back. Then more when I regear in the spring

I'm running a 3" lift and 235's with 50/50 hwy/city and I average 15.5 mpg. I don't have a heavy foot either. Looks like we're getting the normal mpg.

You may not notice a huge difference, but running at 160* at highway speeds is not doing your engine any good.
