Well this is an end to my build. RIP Project Great White. It was a 99 limited but anyway. So I was driving to Napa to pick up some gear oil and some idiot pulls out in front of me. I was in the fast lane and a county bus was in the right lane picking someone up when he blindly pulled out in front of me. I didnt even see him pull out so it was soo not my fault. When I did see him it was too late but i hit the brakes anyways to try and slow down and maybe swerve and avoid the collision, but no such luck. I tboned the hell out of his Tacoma. Ended up smashing up my front end good enough that I couldnt open my doors to get out. Sucks cuz he was uninsured but oh well. S*** happens, life goes on. I guess my Jeep felt like I didnt want it because I was planning on selling it. So with that said love your vehicles because they DO have feelings.
Now as for the cherokee, I still dont know what I am going to do with it. I was able to drive it home and now its parked in my garage. There was no dmage to the engine but the radiator and everything in between is screwed. I have no plans to continue working on this vehicle so I will be ripping everything out. I dont want to invest any time on this Jeep, that i feel is cursed now. Im not sure if I will part it out and sell it yet but if I do I will let you guys know before anyone else. I was thinking of buying a two door and swapping everything to that one. Or maybe make my Comanche a 4x4??? Is that a tough conversion? My XJs enigne tranny axels and tc are still good so I will see whats up.
All in all, Im glad myself and nobody else was hurt. Id like some input on what yall think I should do. Any ideas? Thanks.

the same thing happend to me last february, i t boned a toyota camry, the stupid lady pulled right out in front of me, but i couldnt just part it out i loved it too much lol, i fixed everything including radiator, header panel, bumper and all that, luckily the hood was fine and i just bent the fenders back the way they were, you cant even tell lol, if i were you id try to fix it but i guess it all just depends on how much you really love your jeep

 

first thing i'd do is lawyer up and go after the ******. i bet it was one of these damned illegals.

 

small claims court, Get the highest est. you can find. They'll put a judgement on him. and hold his lic. untill paid off. But It could take years.

I though i had typed it in but i didnt...it had turned out that the tag didnt even belong to the truck, which is why he ran..I forgot to mention that he hit me and ran off somewhere leaving his truck. and funny you say that he was an "illegal" because people said it was a short hispanic guy. Im not sure if he was illegal though. I am hispanic but the legal kind lmao.. Hopefully the police can track him down and handle that. As for the lawyers and courts, I really dont have the time to deal with that stuff. Tomorrow afternoon im going to look over my jeep and see if i can save it and what i would need/I wouldnt want to let the xj go to waste so i might buy another one (91-96 this time)

 

Man Im sorry to hear about your cherokee but im glad your ok. There are way to many cherokee's dying this time of year...Dont know what it is but it really seems to bring out all the ******* and morons. Keep us posted on whats going on with your cherokee, trading parts over to your MJ would be a good deal if you wanted to convert it, I dont think youd need anything else to do the conversion as long as your MJ has an AW-4. But whatever route you go with it good luck.

Sucks man...glad ur ok....I would say if you can fix it for cheap you should....I wrecked mine in Nov. It has been in the body shop for a month but I will get it back Tues.....I never thought I would miss it as much as I do.
